How Can severe Nosebleeds Be Treated In A Baby?

My granddaughter, age 9 moved to Az. from Wyo. a few weeks ago. In the last week she has 4-5 unexplained nosebleeds. They seem to stop with pressure on the outside of the nostrils for 10 min. but may return in a few hrs. or days. She is not on any medications and is active and healthy.
